how to play
- A customer arrives with an order. Their order shows the spices you need to add, in order.
- Tap the ingredients in the correct sequence. Tap fast, the bar at the top counts down.
- Each correct order earns coins. Each wrong tap or timeout costs you a heart.
- Lose all hearts and the stall closes. New high score? Tell your friends.
chai wala, the chai game
This is a small browser game we built for fun. You play a chai wala, the Indian word for someone who makes and sells chai. Customers come to your stall with orders. You brew them.
Plain chai is just water, tea, milk, sugar. Masala chai adds ginger, cardamom, sometimes cloves and cinnamon and a peppercorn. Each customer has a different order. Read the sequence at the top, tap the ingredients in that order, and serve.
The game is free, runs in your browser, and your high score is saved on your device. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Just chai.
